Prof. Dr. Uwe Leprich<\/strong> is head of the \u201cClimate Protection and Energy\u201d department of the Federal Environment Agency<\/strong>. He has also been a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Saarland<\/strong> (HTW Saar<\/a>) since 1995 and co-founder of the Institute for Future Energy Systems<\/strong> (IZES gGmbH<\/a>) in Saarbr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Leprich was, among other things, an expert member of the Enquete Commission of the 14th German Bundestag \"Sustainable Energy Supply\" and often worked as an expert for the Federal Ministry for the Environment and Economics. He is also spokesman for the Research Association for Renewable Energies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Volker Quaschning<\/strong> is one of the leading German experts in the field of renewable energies with well over 100 journal and conference contributions as well as over 100 lectures and appearances on radio and TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He has been a professor for the subject of Regenerative Energy Systems<\/strong> since 2004 at the University of Technology and Economics HTW Berlin<\/a> and spokesperson for the course Renewable Energies. From 1999 to 2004 he was project manager for solar system analysis at the German Aerospace Center.<\/p>\n
